Dr. Andrzej J. Zarowski is a medical doctor and electronic engineer. He currently works at the European Institute of Otorhinolaryngology in Antwerp as ENT Consultant and Head of the Audiology Department. He is also a lecturer at Thomas More College in Antwerp.
Dr. Zarowski is a preeminent scientist and innovator in his field, with many publications and inventions to his name. His main scientific interests include otology, neurotology and functional electrical stimulation. He is a member of many professional organisations, including the Belgian Royal Society of Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons, the Belgian Society of Audiology, and the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology, amongst others.}
After being involved for the major part of his professional career in the development and commercialisation of advanced medical devices, he now puts his energy into the exploration and the development of new methods and technologies, aiming to bring advanced medical technology within reach of large populations worldwide. Having founded or co-founded many innovative medical device start-ups, Jacques is a renowned industry specialist, serving as an advisor to various Fortune 500 companies and start-ups in the health industry.
Jacques strongly believes in healthcare without barriers. He is the founding partner and CEO of Jacoti and an innovative entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the field of medical devices.

Nils is an experienced marketer and business leader, with more than 30 years of experience. He is currently CEO at Milcobel and has been general manager of Unilever Belgium & Luxemburg. He has occupied several senior roles at global, regional and local levels at Unilever, AB-Inbev (Interbrew) and Censydiam. He is active in industry associations, creating a healthy ecosystem for all stakeholders. He has been president of IMACE, the European margarine associations and is a member of the executive committee of Fevia, the Belgian food industry association and BABM, the Belgian branded manufacturers association.
Nils is a commercial engineer, graduated from the University of Antwerp. He also followed the non-executive program at the University of Nyenrode, the Netherlands. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Antwerp, focussing on building brands and businesses with a purpose and international marketing.
Prof. Offeciers is a medical doctor and a reputed ear surgeon. He is Chairman of the European Institute for Otorhinolaryngology at the Sint Augustinus Hospital in Wilrijk-Antwerpen, Belgium. He is a key speaker at medical conferences worldwide, and a sought-after educator in his field.
He holds various board functions in international scientific and professional societies and federations (IFOS, EUFOS, EAONO, EAORL/HNS, the Politzer Society, etc.), and organised various successful international scientific congresses. He acts as an advisor to international organisations and medical device companies.
He is a member of the International Editorial Board and reviewer for a host of scientific journals and published an extensive list of papers on a range of topics in peer-reviewed journals.
As a skilled clinician, he designed original otosurgical techniques. Highly experienced in the field of implantable auditory prostheses, he was part of the team that developed the LAURA cochlear implant.
